Race Description

Yellow Belly 100 Mile Ultramarathon (Spring Edition)

100 Miles. 8000ft Elevation. One continuous loop of the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB

Yellow Belly Ultras summons you to the Yellow Belly Ultra 100 — a relentless, all‑or‑nothing odyssey across the wild heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB. One loop. One hundred miles. No shortcuts. No mercy.

Forged by the same crew who unleashed the Yellow Belly 50, this is its bigger, fiercer, more unforgiving sibling. A beautifully brutal pilgrimage through sweeping ridgelines, ancient Viking paths, and story-soaked Lincolnshire villages that have watched centuries of traveler's pass — but none quite like you. Every mile demands respect. Every climb contributes to a mighty 8,000 ft of ascent and descent that will test your resolve as much as your legs.

A hard 36‑hour cut-off stands between you and glory. Six fully loaded aid stations await like beacons in the night.

This isn’t just an ultra. It’s a reckoning. A challenge worthy of your ambition. A journey you’ll remember long after the finish line.

The Race Format

We have designed this event to be accessible yet challenging. With a generous 36 hour hard cut-off, this is the ideal entry point for aspiring ultra runners taking on the 100 mile distance for the first time. For the seasoned endurance athlete, the rolling terrain offers a chance to push the pace and clock a serious time.

  • Distance: 100 Miles (Circular Loop)
  • Elevation: ~2,438m (8000ft)
  • Support: 6 Fully Stocked Aid Stations

Registration & Kit Check: To ensure a stress-free start, we strongly urge all runners to register early.

Capacity: Strictly limited to 150 runners. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the 150 spots are filled, entries will close.

Note: Parking at Swallow Village is extremely limited. Parking is available 200m from the start at the Swallow Inn.  We ask all runners to car share where possible to reduce congestion.

Awards & Prizes

It’s not just about the glory; it’s about the hardware.

  • Finishers: All runners who complete the course within the 36-hour limit will receive a bespoke Yellow Belly finisher’s medal and a Yellow Belly Pale Ale.
  • Podiums: Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers.
